This being the Twenty-second of July in the year 2008, I have assumed a vow of silence. I intend to spend the next year in reflection and meditation, eschewing the world and all that is in it. But my vow said nothing about blogging, and as blogging does not require speech, I cannot see how it should violate my vow. So I will be writing regularly to keep everyone updated on my progress and experiences this year.
